Things that eeeerk me

1. People who are talkers and not Do-ers
Lets be real, if you have been talking about doing something for over a year and haven't done it yet, you probably never will.

2. If you are a guy, don't text me more than three times in a row with out me responding.
Isn't this common sense? Guys, if she likes you, TRUST ME, she will be looking at her phone waiting for you to text her and she WILL text you back.
If I haven't responded to one of your three texts;
A. I'm not interested
OR
B. I'm not interested

3. Since when did the verb 'talking' become synonyms with having sex?
If someone asks me "I heard you and Bob are talking" It seems pretty ridiculous that If i say "Ya" I get this oddly intrigued look like I'm some kinda of skank. So now I will respond, "If by talking you REALLY mean having conversation via text like I do with most people then yes... but if you mean having sex? Definitely not. Thanks for asking"

4. People who can not admit that they don't know, or that they are wrong.
This mostly is a syndrome found in the male species especially when dealing with car problems.

5. Shy people.
I just don't get it. I would so much rather people think I am weird, than think I am quiet and boring!! The ONE exception to this rule is my sister Mandy. She isn't shy, she's just not as loud as most. But when everyone quiets down just enough, she is weirder than anyone I know :)

6. LOL
Dont say it unless you are actually laughing out loud. Kids now-a-days use it after every sentance. No you are not laughing out loud and neither am I. LOL.

I'm pretty good at being a girl

Things that make me happy:
Pretty nails
... So I have gotten my nails done professionally since I was 17 years old. I recently decided to be less high maintenance and save money and paint my own nails. I didn't realize how much of a challenge this would be!! You use your hands for EVERYTHING!! and I cannot stand it if my hands are out there, for people to see, when they have ugly cuticles or chipped nail polish. So my less high maintenance plan didn't work, because now I paint my nails three times a week... But I'm saving $80 a month that I would be spending on gel fills :)

Margaritas...This is my family's drink of choice, we know how to put down margaritas! I'm majorly missing midweek lunch dates at Miguel's with Mom & Dad :(

Miss Estee Bear... She is my baby and best friend

Coffee/Chai Tea Lattes... This makes me so happy. I love relaxing with someone special over a yummy hot beverage. Soothes my soul :)

Hair Accessories... especially feathers!

Who Wouldn't Want This?!

I am enjoying my stay at the Gunters home. First of all their home is beautiful; my favorite part is the custom pool. Secondly Shelly is an amazing cook; she makes yummy dinner and then there is always leftovers for my lunch the next day.

BUT one of my very favorite things about living there (besides getting to share a room with my bff Kenzie) is our brother Derek Gunter. Now this kid is one of the funniest/weirdest/most scarcastic kids I have ever met. We are constantly playing tricks and making fun of each other.

Last week he offered to share a bite of his Cafe Rio with me. (If you know anything about me then you would know how much I LOVE Cafe Rio).

As I was taking an extremely large bite becuase I wanted to make it a good one, sourcream and quac got all over and around my mouth while beans and rice were actually spilling out. I treated it as if it was my first bite of food in days. As I looked over at Derek with my cheeks full of burrito he said to me with a disgusted look on his face, "how are you still single?!" I tried to quickly say something mean back but I couldn't help but laugh at how repulsing I looked.

In humilty I was about to say, "Good call Derek" But I still stuck to my guns and replied (with extreme arm and body motion), "WHO WOULDNT WANT THIS?!"

Am I right? or am I right?

Fun in the Sun

So I have officially survived my first 12 days of Phoenix... and I do think it is pretty amazing. The weather right now is perfect. Perfect for morning and evening runs, perfect for laying out by the pool and perfect for summer dresses.

My job is pretty great. Im surrounded by alot of educated people who are teaching me a lot. My boss's boss pulled me in his office and told me, "your a smart, sharp, creative girl. Run with it"... kinda made my day :) My job is the perfect combination of learning tons of new things, but still having enough of my own experience and knowledge to impress people here and there.

I have also made some fun new friends!! Most of which are friends of my friends in Reno. So it's definitly comforting to be able to tell stories and talk about people we both know. I am missing my Estee bear pup more than anything. I can wait to find a place with a yard so I can show her our new home. I know she is going to love it here.

I am loving the support I am getting from my family and friends back home. I'm going to do BIG things in this life :)
